What this page does, in plain English

The Extreme Rebound Engine is a research tool. It scans a large list of liquid U.S. stocks and looks for stocks that are still in a long-term uptrend but have become unusually oversold in the short term. The goal is to help traders find possible rebound candidates, then build a risk plan before they ever place a trade.

Important: This is not an automatic buy list. It is a ranked research list. The next step is always to verify the chart, check the news, define the stop, and decide whether the setup is worth the risk.
πŸ”Ž

What am I looking for?

Stocks that are temporarily stretched down, still above their long-term trend, liquid enough to trade, and volatile enough to rebound.

βœ…

What is a good result?

A high score, RSI(3) below your threshold, ATR% above the required level, price above SMA(200), and volume strong enough for clean entries/exits.

⚠

What can go wrong?

The stock can keep falling, gap through the stop, fail to bounce, or lose its long-term trend. That is why every result includes risk levels.

πŸ“ˆ

What should I do next?

Run the scan, click Verify on a ticker, check the technical chart and news, then decide whether the trade fits your rules and risk tolerance.

Use the page from top to bottom

Do not start by guessing a ticker. Let the engine search first, then use the results table and verification chart to decide which symbols deserve deeper analysis.

Step 1ScanChoose a universe. Leave defaults if you are new. Click Run Scan.
Step 2SortReview the highest-scoring candidates. High score means stronger rule alignment, not guaranteed profit.
Step 3VerifyUse the chart links and built-in chart to confirm the technical indicators match the system.
Step 4RiskUse stop, trailing stop, shares at risk, and capital required before making any trade decision.

Step 1 β€” Run Today’s Rebound Scan

Start here. Click Run Scan, then read the ranked list.

This tool is a guided research workflow. It first tries to find exact rebound setups. If the market has few exact setups, it will still show the closest candidates so the page never feels broken or empty.

1Use Quick Start firstNASDAQ 100 is selected because it is fast and easy to understand. Use the full U.S. scan after you know the workflow.
2Exact matches are bestExact matches pass price, volume, ATR, RSI, and trend filters. Near matches are research candidates that need extra caution.
3Verify before actingClick Verify on any symbol to review SMA(200), RSI(3), ATR(14), stop level, trailing stop, and chart links.
ReadyChoose a universe and run the screener. Quick Start scans should finish much faster. Full U.S. scans can take several minutes.
Step 2 β€” Today’s Ranked Candidates

Start at the top of this list. A higher score means stronger rule alignment, not a guaranteed winner. Click Verify before acting on any symbol.

Setup Alignment Score ranks how closely the stock matches the rules. It is not a guarantee or probability of profit.

Oversold Intensity measures the severity of the pullback using RSI(3). Lower numbers are more extreme.

Typical Daily Movement uses ATR(14)/Price to show whether the stock has enough movement capacity for a rebound trade.

Setup Invalidation is the stop-loss level where the thesis is considered broken.

Estimated Position Cost shows the capital required based on the risk-based share count.
